30mm fisheye lens 500 system

Need help. My 30mm lens hood has to be replaced due to cosmetic issues, in other words the hood is not bent just paint loss. I would like to have the lens hood replaced. Can the lens hood be replaced by me or does it have to be sent to Hasselblad. I believe I can get the part from Hasselblad but do not know how to remove the hood. An anyone help.

I'm afraid you are out of luck. The hood is an integral part of the lens barrel which holds the front group of lens elements. Only a Hasselblad technician can do this work. Quite possibly only the factory could do this.

A paintjob by a careful repairman may be the easiest and least expensive option.
