Your opinions Please: 1000F

I am considering moving from Exakta 66 to Hasselblad 1000F. I have always wanted one of these cameras. My specific need, would be for a body to use with my 120/150mm Rodenstock Imagon (about 80's) vintage.
Right now the lens works better than new on my EX66. But I hear the siren call of the 1000F!

Or would it be better to go with the 2000F? I will need a new back mount made up for the Hasselblad mount, but I know where to go for this. What about 1000F repairs? I'm n the USA.

The support situation for 1000F cameras in the US is pretty bad.
I do not know of any technician who is able to handle these cameras in the US.
Same goes for spares, they are difficult to find.

That is the bad news.
The good news is I can offer a full service and repair of pre '57 cameras like the 1600F and 1000F.
I also hold a good stock of new spares for those cameras.
Without new spares it will be difficult to keep those cameras on the road.

The 1000F is a very strong camera.
Once it had a full service it will be a reliable camera for years.

I strongy recommend membership of the FUC: F Users Club.
Membership is free for this virtual club.

The 2000 series cameras suffer from the same problem, no support in the US other than Hasselblad USA.
They limit repairs to small jobs due to lack of spares.

I also offer service and repairs for 2000 cameras icluding the fitting of new shutters.
These shutters use cloth rather than metal as in the original cameras.
