Why I love my HCD 4/28

Over at the V-System forum there is a new series of threads on specific gear. So why not have it here as well.
I'd like to start the series with the HCD 4/28. It is a great WA lens that i frequently use for panos as well (either cropped or stitched)

Great shots!

I hope i can use my new HCD 28mm to the better results in USA if i will take my hassy, still i didn't use it since i bought it 2 weeks ago.

I'm sorry but that landscape image does not look sharp to me at all. But judging sharpness by looking at jpg's on the net is pretty much useless anyway.

But you are certainly right. Not sure what happened here, i converted the PSD again, looks better now.

Sorry,
Ralf

Why do I love my HCD 4/28?
Well, I'm not a writer so it's rather difficult to put my feelings about the lens into words. I’m a photographer so instead I'll post a couple of links to two new galleries shot exclusively with this remarkable lens.

Beautiful!

Just purchased the HCD 28/4. Waiting for the delivery man to bring it today! Can't wait. Very nice portfolio pictures Keith.

Regards

David

Guys, many thanks for comments, much appreciated.

Jürgen, good use of differential focus, I like these shots. They put me in mind of robots or primeval monsters rising from the depths

Best
