Hi All,
Today I received an old Hasselblad HC-4 Prism, in nice condition. The rubber eyecup, however, was cracked all the way around, and crudely re-glued. After several minutes in my workshop, I was able to take it completely apart, and remove the original rubber. It appears to be glued to a threaded washer/tube, so I put it all back together, minus the rubber. As luck would have it, the rubber eyecup for the Kiev88 fits like it was made for it, but needs to be glued properly so it dosen't come off in the field.
So what kind of glue for rubber to painted brass? I thought about Super Glue, but I want to be sure and use the right thing.
Attached is a digisnap of my new HC-4, with the K88 Eyecup. It works well with my eyeglasses
