Go ahead.. make us jealous..... what did you get?

I got an HC100 and a 26mm extension tube. The 100mm really rocks!

At X'mas time I have to pay a lot for family and other thing. With this money I could buy 80% of a CFV-39. On other hand I received borowin gifts witch value allows to buy one box of five 220 fujichrom films.
However I offer for my self a Manfrotto stativ modopocket ma 797 I allready tried for funy night pictures with my V. As I allways prefer to give than recieve it's Great.

My wife gave me some nice sweaters, shirts, pants etc....but no new Hasselblad V or H series gear. Not that I had asked for any (I'm more interested in a new Epson 3880 or 4880 printer at the moment).

Even so, I did slip a few items into my Christmas stocking.....I ordered several of the Hasselbald tripod quick coupling plates to use with my Pentax 67 and Mamiya TLR cameras. It's nice to have the same plates on all of my medium format cameras so they can all be mounted on my Gitzo tripod with the Hasselblad quick coupler.

Users having a hard time without any new gear to show please look at the classified section.
Lots of attractive offers for sale.

Well, I bought nothing. But right in time I received a parcel that contained the first Hasselblad 1600F that I ever bought some time ago and which was extremely difficult to repair because it suffered from a missing tooth on a gear, a hole in the shutter and some other problems. Now it is back in working condition. And also beautiful again. Thanks to the magic hands and patience of my repairman and thanks to a recently surfaced box of ancient Hasselblad wrecks which served as parts donors. The 1600F was accompanied by two 1000F cameras which also required more than just a "simple" CLA to be back in service.

These three wonders were more than enough for Christmas!

Hello Ulrik,

What should not be forgotten is the persistence of the owner to get these pieces of Hasselblad history back to working order.
The repair man who made this all happen is a God sent gift for owners of older Hasselblads.

His patience and craftsmanship are second to none.
Ulrik and others know how much problems I have with K... cameras but these ill constructed monsters taught this repairman not to give in and keep trying.

By now he does not want to have anything to do with K... cameras.
Although difficult and stubborn at times Hasselblad cameras deserve the efforts to repair them.
In the end a good and reliable camera is handed back to the owner.

Congratulations are in order!

I just learned that the factory of the K... cameras closed this year. And I also learned that they just recently must have invested in expensive tools for their bodies as their latest (and last) products seem to be quite nice. They even used space age materials to reduce friction for the shutter curtains.

Hm, looks like the T34's must have gone out of fashion then?

Santa Brought me ...

I traded a little used Zeiss 30/3.5 for a more useful HC 210/4 + cash. The cash went right back to Santa to pay for my wife's Christmas gifts ... which in turn helps grease the path to getting more camera stuff later ... LOL!

Marc,
my strategy was similar. The generous present for my wife was well invested for the day that she recognises that these few chrome Hasselblads have in fact very many similar looking brethren... (I hated it when they introduced those flashy blue stripes).

Next Christmas your wife will buy you a small pot of blue paint and a very fine brush...

Happy New Year folks!

I bought myself a new HC 2.2/100 and Hasselblad made every effort
to deliver it before xmas eve. Unfortunately after 10 shots or so with the lens
i experienced "Lens Problem ID 19:1"
The beast is on its way back to Sweden.
Regards,
Ralf

Happy New Year everyone,
Santa very kindly brought me an X-Pan kit for Xmas (excellent condition) and had even gone to the trouble of finding a 30mm lens in mint condition. I must have been a very good girl!
