silly question

I am sure I'm going to ask some nonsense question, but anyway, here it goes:
Is there a Hasselblad V mount to Leica M adapter? meaning, using the hasselblad lenses on a M camera. if not, why not?
thanks!

There are several adapters made in Asia to fit Hasselblad/Zeiss lenses to 35 mm film cameras
like Nikon, Canon and Pentax to name a few.
These adapters cost around 60 USD, they are quite good.
It is possible there are also adapters suitable for Leica M bayonet.
Check sellers at evilbay to find out about availability.

The other option is the Novoflex system of adapters.
Novoflex offers adapter sets to fit Hasselblad/Zeiss lenses to almost any other 35 mm camera.
This solution is much more expensive.

Not possible to focuss at infinity with a Hasselblad lens on a visoflex.
However it is possible to use Leica "visoflex lens on Hasselblad 2000. Perhaps the 135mm T-E may be usable.

Thanks! it seems you can't go straight from Hasselblad to Leica, but have to choose some intermediate system to bridge both, something like Hasselblad -> Canon -> Leica M might work...
thanks again

That is not correct.
Besides that the more adapters you put between the lens and the body with Visoflex the more limited you are to focus at larger distances.

The adapterset is available made by Novoflex.
I do not see the sense of this long detour.
It makes more sense to look for a Canon, Nikon or Leica SLR body to use Hasselblad lenses with 35 mm film.

i just bought a Nikon Zeiss adaptor to use my Zeiss Hasselblad lenses on my Nikon! Made in China, seems beautifully crafted and works perfectly! Cost me under 50 or was it under 40? euros including shipping to Gibraltar and everything!
