Received beautiful Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 140-280 but lens will not cock rear screw to align with red dot

So anyone hear know of a repair shop that could possibly service and repair this lens for use on a 503CW? Thanks.
Every time I turn screw to get screw lined up with red dot it always goes beyond red dot making it unable to mount on camera.
