Polaroid back for 500 series

Hi, I have a 501CM and am after a polaroid back.

I haven't had a chance to pick up a copy of the Hasselblad Compendium yet so am not sure which model of back i should get and for which model(s) film packs are still readily available for.

Anyone who can shed some light (pun not intended) that would be great. Have seen some backs going for decent prices on Ebay and other places so am keen to pick one up.

I am using Hasselblad Pola 100 polaroid magazine back and currently using Fujifilm FP-100C color print film. FP-100C has format of 3.25x4.25", but with Hasselblad polaroid backs only 55x55mm can be used, and has sensitivity of ISO 100.

The last Hasselblad polariod back is Pola Plus 100 magazine back; the only difference is a safety catch at the darkslide that prevent accidental exposure. As there is not enough back focus for polaroid image plane, there is a glass window between the camera body and the magazine to extend the back focus. This make the edge a little blur and has to be extreme careful in handling.

Polatoid backs

It is not my habit to show what you should not use but here are two backs you should not buy because there is no more film available for these backs.

These backs use Polaroid 663 film that is no longer available.

At the moment Fuji is the only film available for Pola backs.
Rst assured Fuji instant B/W and color film is excellent
It seems Polaroid is thinking of restarting production for instant film.

Any scans we can see?

Can anyone please scan an image of the Fuji FP-100C or the 100B? Exposed of course. I have contact sheets from the Hasselblad and they are awfully small. I am interested in the amount of detail that can be seen on instant film at 2 square inches. Do you gents use the Polaroid backs for preview or are they viable as an artistic outlet?

The Pola 100 film is larger than the exposed part which is only 56x56 mm.
That is the same size of a film frame.

Polaroid is quite often used as a medium.
I know of a wedding photographer who uses a couple of pola backs to shoot B/W pictures besides negative film.
These polaroids can be admired by the couple and the guests immediately after the wedding.
