Plate for Hasselblad

I use 3 made by Hasselblad. I also cut a "Metz 45" plate to cary a V and flash.
I even cut a "Metz 45 plate" and fix to my hasselblad pistol grip. However I have to use higher speed to get sharp pictures.

Thank you very much!

In fact i am looking for a plate from Really Right Stuff to use with their ballhead, meanwhile i am still using normal Manfrotto plate with Manfrotto tripod, so i was hoping someone here maybe using a plate from RRS for his/her 50 series camera.

Perhaps check what RRS recommend, on their website?

For my 500C/M and 503CX bodies I've purchased the replacement foot plates made by Clearsight USA. The seller was extremely helpful, replacing one lost in the post and providing guidance on installation. These work very well with the Arca-standard clamps.

Hasselblad still supplies their Quick Coupling plate p.n. 3043326.
This device comes with two spirit levels and is suitable for all V series bodies.
Some older models may require the use of an adapter plate.

I am using a RRS ballhead, so i don't want to go with another ballhead with my Hasselblad 501CM, i checked the website and it seems there are 2 types of plates to use with Hasselblad 500 series and i am not sure which one is the right choice.

The only difference in the RRS plates for the Hasselblad is one has a 3/8" stud and the other 1/4". You would go with the one that best fits with the 501CM base plate, which I believe would be the 1/4" one.

Personally, I use the 1/4" stud plate attached to the Hasselblad 3043326 Quick Coupling and both stay in the tripod clamp. This eliminates having the RRS plate on the camera for hand held shooting. I also have 35mm/DSLR's that use the same tripod, so I just remove the Hasselbald rig when using another format.

Hope this helps.
