Phocus 2 config on MacBook Pro

This is extracted from the instructions from Hasselblad when using Phocus 2 on a MacBook Pro regarding the video card. I have the video card they are talking about, however it beats me on how to adjust configurations:

"For a laptop choose a MacBook Pro with the 512MB Geforce 9400M/9600M graphics adapter and remember to run it in the high performance Geforce 9600M mode when using Phocus."

Any one know? I googled advice and what I got is "you do not change configurations on a Mac."

That refers to the fact that those MacBook Pro-s have in fact 2 video chips. A power-efficient one (9400M) that you normally use when running on batteries, and a much more powerful one typically used on AC power, the 9600M.

My MacBook (non-Pro) only has a 9400M so I cannot speak from experience how this works in detail.

But this http://www.lancelhoff.com/switching-video-cards-macbook-pro/ might help.

The switch worked

It worked, and when I brought up Phocus 2 it ran must faster (the color wheel has not yet shown up yet while I romp around these pictures as it did before). Thank you.
