I really like the bottom one most!

I like the first pano the most because of the higher symmetry (although the details are a little bit distracting, compared to the second pano). Shooting in B&W strengthens the pano in terms of simplicity.

I'm still playing with vertical shots using the Xpan. It sure is an interesting camera, looking forward to bring it to the US landscapes.

I love Pano verticals.

You may have heard of Black Saturday here in the state of Victoria, Austrlia in 2009 - about 200 smei-rural residents burnt alive in our state's worst bushfires. On a 43C+ day all "hell" broke loose and many towns around Kinglake (about only 1 hour drive out of Melbourne) burst into flames nothing could stop - about 15,000 homes lost!

Here is a vertical pano I took on that day from my apartnemnt balcony where I live in Melbourne city. I call "Red Saturday". Hours later the smoke was covering Melbourne and 1/2 of the state! We all knew an horrific event was well underway.

Here is a tree shot! We have some nice 200 year old tall timber too!




And by the way the detail in the leaves at the top is fantastic at 100%!
