I have consistent success stitching 3 Sony files manually (No nodal slide/plate) for architectural images. Usually stitched 3 shots from the 24mm. After processing the raw files, I stitch in Photoshop.

Waiting for my X2d II 100c. At times, I will need a bit more width when shooting the 28P. Plan to have mounted an Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket to the camera. Mounted vertically or horizontally, I usually will shoot the 28P, but will also plan to shoot with the 75P and other lenses as I purchase. Any suggestions for a good quality Nodal slide, Arca-Swiss compatible? A motorized plate would be overkill IMO.

Thanks in advance!

I think stitching is probably not expected much with a 100mp image. Likely you will need to go to photoshop or something else to get that. I doubt Phocus will add stitching. Focus stacking on the other hand….

My thought about stitching has nothing to do with making the image larger in terms of megapixels. It is everything about making an image wider so I don’t have to use a super wide lens, and all of it’s front to back distortion, to capture my subject.

I’m thinking verticals stitched make a great wide angle look horizontally, without having extreme front to back distortion. The effect I think would work best with the 75P vertically.

I use the Novoflex Slim Panorama Set, a little bit expensive but works very well, it is light and great for the value. For stitching LR Classic works well, sometimes I use Panorama Studio Pro. My experience over the last years is to use not so wide angel lenses, more normal wide lenses like 55mm or simliar. Stitching photos made by with wide angel lenses like 24mm can make problems in the sky areas.

I appreciate the update! Have seen this slider in the recent past. You get what you pay for and Novoflex has a great reputation!
