Negative Scanners 6x6

Hi every body! I am very new to the forum. and I am Hasselblad addict. I need help to select a better Negative Scanner to use for 6x6 and Xpan pano. format. I cant afford the best like Imacon or Nikon scanners. and opt for something in between the two. Any ideas with your experience? thanks for your suggesting.

i'm using Epson V600 Photo and happy about it!
the software i think is almost as important though!
i use VueScan.

good luck!

I use Epson V750, it is amazing scanner, V750/V700 are top line of Epson scanner, then V600/V500 coming after, Canon has good scanners as well such as 8800 or 9000 i think, i heard good things about them as well, ofcourse i also wish to get a drum scanner or film dedicated scanner like Nikon for better results, but i am quite happy with Epson so far, one day i may afford Nikon scanner or better i hope.

I use an Epson v700 and outfitted it with a betterscanning.com adjustable MF holder with two ANR inserts... The quality of the scans is very, very good. Especially for the money - and compared to a dedicated film scanner.

I do a lot of different things with my scanner; negatives, old prints and slides, office documents, etc. so a dedicated scanner wasn't economical nor practical in my case.

Hi Maarten M.

I also have the V750 but the software supplied with it will not work on my Windows Vista x64 system. I've checked the VueScan website but I'm not which version to download and trial.

I'd be grateful if you had any guidance on the subject. Thanks. Paul.
