Here's two I shot this morning at Cheekwood Botanical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. I also just bought a new LCD monitor, so I had to "eyeball" the monitor calibration, so I hope these look decent.

Left - 501 CM, 40 CF FLE, CFV, single exposure
Right - 501 CM, 60 CF w/93 polarizer, CFV 3-shot HDR, manual blend using two luminosity masks - one for the light tones, and one for the dark tones.

The first one looks fantastic. I wish we could see it bigger. Could you save them as 16 bit tiff files?

I do have them processed & saved as 16 bit tiffs. However, when I post them, I convert them to sRGB jpegs @ 720 ppi, but they are automatically downsized by the site. Don't know what else to do.

to avoid posting links in posts, would sending a PM be a better solution? That way it won't get "moderated" ;-)

First of all many thanks to Michael for these images.
Splendid samples of the IQ that can be realised with Hasselblad digital V series.

I think I better explain about the forums policy concerning links to images.
The forum asks all images to be uploaded to prevent the threads turning into Swiss cheese when the source for the image is no longer there.

Club members enjoy the largest upload capacity in the world of forums: 1200x1200 pixels or 585 KB.
Furthermore users have the option to register their web site under their public data.
Other users can see this information when they click the name of the user and look up the profile.

There is nothing against mentioning this web site here because it does not contain information with a commercial purpose.

The moderator does not downsize any images.
I have better things to do!

Paul

Paul, thanks for the kind words about my images. I was not implying that you personally downsize any postings, but that the system must - perhaps to keep images within certain kb restrictions? Also perhaps to keep images within specified parameters for non-club members, which I am for the moment.
I do know I uploaded these images @ 720 pixels (10"x10"), and they posted @ a little better than half that size. But then again, all the image postings seem to be about the same size. I guess where larger sizes come into play is when one clicks on the image to see a larger size, for which club members are allowed the 1200 x 1200 pixel size.
All that said, on my work monitor they look fine, and are of adequate size, but I guess there's always pixel-peepers who want to go deeper.
Someday I'll just have to become a club member.
