Leica has announced the prices for the S2 camera and lenses:

These prices show what a clever marketing initiative the CFV39 was:
Right price at the right moment.
I do not think many Hasselblad users if any will even consider the move to the S2.
No doubt the S2 is an excellent camera with lenses we will dream about.
Take 30 % of and you will probably get prices in euro for the European market.
Considering Leicas reputation for quality and stiff prices there will be a market for this camera in Europe and Asia.
Export to the US will not be significant due to the poor value of the USD aginst the euro.
Untill that situation changes the S2 will be a rare sight in the US.
