Many years ago 1970s-1980s I did a LOT of photography. I had my own dark-room. I earned money printing and spotting B&W prints for demanding professionals in formats up to 4x5". Ansel Adams was "god". I ran a 4x5 camera, a Hassy 500c, and my beloved Olympus OM1. In 1987 I stopped. Completely.
But now it is 2012, I want to find that magic of when you can fall into a picture and get lost in the magic and mystery of light and texture. There is no dSLR I see under $6000 which would please me, so I am wanting to resurrect my Hassy and feel the kerpflunk again....
I'm upgrading the kit having just bought a used 150 CF T* to play with, am considering getting a 250 sonnar T* if one comes available, and we will see where it takes me (if anywhere). Wish me luck!
