Incongruous readings from PME45 and 203FE

I mounted my PME45 today on my 202FA and then my 203FE with the same lens, iso, etc. and there is a consistent one stop difference between what the prism and the bodies measured. The PME45 gave a +1 EV higher reading than the bodies. Anyone else experienced this problem? Should I take the prism in for a check up? I assume there is nothing wrong with the bodies because they had the same readings using any of the three E12 backs I own.

What may happen:
You have to set up the max opperture and iso of your lens in the PM first.( That's an usual mistake when you change lenses that open at 2.8 after one that open at 4.0)
The angle field may be different, Did you test with a flat landscape ?

The settings are correct and I tested it with the same FE110 so the angle of view is the same. My only theory is that the previous owner of the PME45 calibrated for an older screen but it is reading a higher EV and an older screen would make it read a lower EV wouldn't it? I should just take it checked out.

The error may be caused by the focussing screen.
I rember not all focussing screens are suitable for the PME 45 without correction.
Check the PME manual to be sure.

Wasn't that something with focusing screens with focus aids, like microprisms or split image?
