I accidentally a Xpan.

Went to the local shop to pick up my 50mm FE which had been in for some CLA. And they had a Xpan I with the 45mm in. Nice condition, in box with 1050 frames taken. All at a very reasonable price. I mean what could I do?

So now I'm as happy as a bird with a French fry! :D
 
Dang, I paid 1375 CHF... Got film and fresh batteries in the price though :)

Can't wait to go outside and snap some pics! Too bad it's dark like 24h a day here in Stockholm this time of year...

Now, I'm off browsing for a suitable flash and some filters. New gear is so much fun! And it gives you the opportunity to invest in so much more new gear! :D
 
The flash I prefer with the Xpan is the small Leica SF 20 you can get not too expenssive. The M mode is great for outside picture with the 1/125 allowed speed.
 
Thanks! I'll search for one. I got a Metz 45 CT-5 which I use for my regular Blad. But it's a tad too big for the Xpan. Had to try it though.

Discovered today that it's an early model with 32s in bulb. Bummer. Thought all first gen Xpans was 270s. But after working the google on the internet machine it seems that the early ones were only ~30s? Mine is made in 99.

Guess it's gonna have to go to Mr. Hasselblad in Gothenburg to bump that number up a bit.

Not overly thrilled about the time it'll take. Cost I can stand. But not having a camera for 2 months, that's just punishment.

The shop I bought it from will fix it all. They'll send it to götet (That's Gothenburg in Swedish slang) and pay for everything. Yay!
