Hello from Paris, France

Hello,

First of all I'd like to wish all of you the best for 2024, and especially lots of time for our comon passion !

I'm based in Paris (I real Parisian, born in Paris ;o). Photography is a passion since 40+ years. I spent a lot of time in the past, a bit less today.
I strated with Ananlog (hey, 40 years ago !), saw the rise of Digital, tried for a while or for special projects, and finally came back to analog/film.


My best camera is for sure the XPAN. I bought the first one in 2001. Sold it, regret it, bought another one (two actually) after a while. I also have a M6 and a 501C.
I'm graduate in photonournalism but did not make it my main job. But I use to make documentary photography which built and remain my approach to photography.

That said, I discovered this forum today. Will have a look and try to share a bit. You can see some of my last work on my website

Paris, analog/film... that sounds very exciting. You know everybody has now the typical stereotypes in our heads of great b/w shots of people, street, architecture etc.

welcomer to the forum. Good to see you are here.
I am too Cyril Jay... I lived in Paris for 22 years and I am now based on London. I initiated to photography in Paris and ended up using a M6. and later on an - 2. Great cameras and got to a Hasselblad and it was my best advantage to document Paris. Both of us have some similarities on our journey.
