hasselblad choice back help

Hello, I am new on forum, and I'am just going to buy a new hasselblad (I mean used of course) ;]
I want to buy an 503CX:

Is the black edition better? Is the edition with 12 release better, or chrome is better, or what? ;]
I would like also to ask If you think that my choice is good, previously I was shooting only on 35mm Elan 7NE with Carl Zeiss but once I used a Hasselblad I decided to buy one for myself ;] should I buy something more that body, lens and back?

The choice for black or chrome is a personal one.Chrome or black do not have any influence on image quality.
However black cameras do not stand out as much as chrome ones in public.
Keep in mind the black paint job from Hasselblad is rather poor quality. Paint wears off easily.

All film backs from 1986 on have the latest improvements.

How to check the date of Hasselblad gear:

V=1
H=2
P=3
I=4
C=5
T=6
U=7
R=8
E=9
S=0

Victors initials plus the word "pictures" are the code for dating Hasselblad gear

RC means 1985, ES means 1990 etc.
