I'm wondering what you all might say about the Hasselblad 500mm lenses. Which one is the must have it you just really want one?

Tele-Tessar or Tele-Apotessar.

Unless you're into a very specialised field of photography, it's probably not going to be used extensively. The apo is probably a more modern design and will have an edge in image quality but spend what you can afford. You will need a very sturdy tripod that's for sure. I made a fitting for the quick release shoe and bolted it to the lens body mounting point so it places much lower demand on the ball head than mounting the camera on the ball head with an enormous overhang.
