Hi there, i'm quite new to hasselblad, i've only handled a 500c a friend of mine has and this 205tcc i discovered some days ago in my parents house...it's been sitting for 10 years in its box because my father doesn't shoot anymore (i know...it's a crime
)..
I just got into photography and was talking very agitatedly to my mother about these incredible medium format wonders when she told me they had one dying of boredom somewhere in the house!
The problem is that the film magazine seems damaged...all the equipment looks like new but the magazine crank wont turn clockwise...i loaded the film following the instruction manual, didn't do anything wrong and it doesn't turn.(it doesn't turn either without the film loaded inside..)...
I am very very sad,and fear-full to have somehow broken it..is this a common problem?
could it be that with all those years inactive it's mechanisms are damaged?
It hasn't been used for soooo long...i fear something has stuck in the gears moved by the crank..but seem strange since it's been stored in its box (metal attache case)
..help appreciated..
