Glue for leatherette

The glue Hasselblad uses can be distinguished by the strong smell it produces.
I know of an owner of a new 503 CW body that had to air his camera for weeks before the smell was down to an acceptable level.

The stuff I have here is called "Pliobond".

The hazardous substances statement on it is, hmm, interesting. And it stinks like h*ll. But it works nicely, just be in a well ventilated area when using it.

i've used krazy glue made for metal, chrome, titanium, and aluminum. its nozzle is very small so you only release the amount you need. it can be found at any home repair or drug store in the US.

ive also used an adhesive thats on a roll of paper like tape. its just as strong as a rubber cement or tube glue adhesive, but i only use it when applying new leatherette as it will tend to clump up and cause it to be uneven when on loose pieces.
