GIL GPS Receiver - Any Experiences?

Anybody used the GIL GPS Receiver? Is worth the investment & how useful has it been?

Also how it if affect the battery power, drain much power?

GPS receiver

The unit is integrated with the body, much better than other units which use the hot shoe.
I have used it for more than a year without problems, except, it tend to turn loose and the fixing screw needs to be checked and tightened every now and then. If used with Phocus software, it works very well. I also use Google Earth, and Houdah Geo. This application works very well. For me it was worth the investment, since I use it for travel and on construction sites. I believe this unit is the only one that also indicates altitudes.
