Frame counter LCD on XPan II

Hi,

I've just joined this forum, so hello everybody!

I've been an XPan user for some 10 years, but I recently managed to destroy my faithful XPan I in an unfortunate encounter with a lot of salt water.

I've been lucky though to find a near-unused, boxed XPan II at a very realistic price, so I grabbed it, and I'm just running the first film through it.

There is one strange thing about it: with a film loaded, when I switch the power off, the Frame Counter LCD stays on. Is this normal ? On the XPan I it turned off, and the XPan II manual indicates it should do the same.

I'd be grateful for any comment from other XPan II owners

Thanks

David

XPAN ii

I think it is some thing normal on XPan II .. as I find the same thing on my Camera when it is off. So don't worry there is nothing wrong with your Camera.

Yes normal. An other improved point for x-pan II.

If there is no film, then nothing on the sceen.
Well, it will not drain you battery.
