Canon flash to 503CW?

Hello,

Could I connect a Canon 430EXII flash to the Hassy 503CW to use TTL?
Do I need an SCA 390 connector?

Any help is appreciated.

The Canon flash does not accept the SCA 390 or SCA 590 standard.
That means no TTL operation with Hasselblad TTL bodies is possible.

Hasselblad cameras with TTL mode are based on the SCA standard used by Metz and some Sunpak torches.
Both Metz and Sunpak made dedicated units to be used with Hasselblad TTL bodies like the 503 CX, 503 CXi, 503CW and 553ELX.

Too bad I cannot use the Canon flash in TTL mode.
I just bought the Hasselblad D-40 flash.This should do for the time being.
 
You could however possibly use the 430EXII in a manual mode and set the power level from 1/64th to full power. You would need to meter the flash to make the camera settings. Not as convenient as TTL, but could be used in a pinch.
