Best Grip for 500CM?

I plan on doing a lot of hand-held shooting with my new (old) 500cm. I noticed there is a left handed flash grip and a pistol grip available.
Just wondering which works best. I don't have plans to use flash. Anyone have experience with either grip?

Thanks for any suggestions.
 
Strictly a personal choice.
To start I would go for the flash grip. It offers better balance.
