Firstly, I am pleased to be part of this forum. I live in rural Scotland, not too far from Edinburgh, and have enjoyed photography for many years. My first introduction to the wonders of photography was in the early 1970's when my great uncle allowed me to use this weird device called a 'Rolleiflex', and that got me hooked. My own first camera was an Olympus Trip 35 in 1979, and since then I have had many brands of film and digital cameras. I currently own and use Leica M's (film and digital), a Leica Q2, an SL 601, Lumix Micro 4/3, Canon EOS 650 and 1v, Olympus Pen half frame. For medium format film I use a Yashica Mat 124G and Bronica ETRS kit.
I am currently considering a Hasselblad 500 series camera, but am unsure whether to go for an early 500c or CM, or a later 501 or 503 model. I may be asking for some advice from more knowledgable colleagues!
I enjoy photographing rural exploration and urban exploration, as well as architecture, and classic cars amongst other subjects.
Thank you for allowing me to join this medium Format Forum.
