ACR & 3f

Does anyone know if there is an update to Adobe Camera Raw that will read .fff files?
I'm still using CS3, and the version that came bundled does not. I found update 4.5 which seems to be the last one for CS3, but no mention of .fff.
I understand that ACR WILL accept DNG files. Maybe that's the way to go.
Thanks
Michael

3FR and 3fff HASSELBLAD FILES

PSCS4 and also LR2 are unable to open or handle the HASSELBLAD RAW files and convert them into TIFF . There might be some other programs , which can do so , but I do not know . I have not heard of such programs so far .
The only software , which can do so , is either FLEXCOLOR or PHOCUS .

Might be , we learn something else from more experienced HASSELBLAD DIGITAL users . I will be curious .

Apple Aperture v/2 directly opens the Hasselblad RAW files.

To use Photoshop or Lightroom you must first convert the 3F files to DNGs in Flexcolor/Phocus. This process is very swift and allows you to use the Flexcolor or Phocus Browser to edit ... and to select key shots for processing in Phocus which provides better color.

Neither method provides the DAC corrections available in Phocus. Which is not an issue if you are using the CFV, or an H camera with V lenses, since DAC is only for H/C lenses.

There is a plug-in by Hasselblad to read .fff file format (not .3rf file) which can be downloaded from the following link:

http://hasselblad.com/service--support/technical-support/flexcolor-software.aspx

Although it is claimed that for scanned file only, but I can open and process images after loading .3rf files in flexicolor which then converted to .fff files automatically. Attached is an image of the PS CS3 screen after loading the .fff file.
