New to Hasselblad family I have a simple question. Can one use 120 film in an A24 back? I am looking to get another back for my 500CM and contemplating processing prices, film availability etc.
 
The more complicated answer is, Yes you can. But as far as I remember you loose a frame or so.

So why bother, given that A12 cassettes are not expensive anymore?

You get 11.5 versus 12 frames, with increasingly wider frame spacing, when shooting 120 film in an A24.

If you already have it, why not use it?
