The 500EL(X) cameras have a switch on the motordrive that can be used to do bulb exposures. Once this switch is turned, the bulb setting of the camera is immediately activated and only stopped when the switch is returned to the normal setting. This is not how I like to do bulb exposures since it makes timing more difficult. Is there any way to do bulb exposures with these cameras using an electronic cable release? Thanks in advance.
