35mm or 38mm wide on view camera w/ CFV39

I'm looking for someone with user experience with either a 35mm apo grandago or 38mm super anglon xl and the cfv39 / 50 back. I currently use a 58mm SA Xl and 47mm SA Xl on a Technikardan 23 and a CFV39 back. With moderate movements there is a color shift as expected at the edges of the image. Correction in Phocus scene correction is no problemSinaron digital and 38 Super Angulon XL. Does anyone have experience with either of these lenses or anything close.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Don

I am using an APO GRANDAGON 4,5/45mm on a technical camera together with the CFV-39 .
The results are very good and the images are crisp sharp .
Due to the rather big image circle of that lens , I do not need a center filter because I can not see any vignetting with the sensor size of 37x49mm .
But you will see the typical color cast ( CC ) , cyan on the left and magenta on the right side of the image . Not very strong , but its there and can be corrected with scene correctin in PHOCUS .

Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I ordered a Apo Grandagon 35mm this morning with the understanding that I can return it if not satisfied.

I'll post my results in a week or so.

thanks!

Update

I wound up purchasing a like new apo Sinaron Digital (apo Grandagon) green line 35mm. I'm pleased to say it works great with the CFV39 back. there si a color shift with movements but that's to be expected. the good news is Phocus software scene correction works great and corrects the color shift and uneven illumination tword the edges. No need for a center filter with Phocus scene correction. Pixel peeping shows the lens to be an outstanding sharp and contrasty lens.
