B50 Lens Shade for 80mm

Hi all,

I am just wondering can a Bay50 lens shade can fit into a 80mm C lens if I have put a filter adapter ring on (B50 --> 52mm screw). The adapter is screwing into the inner side of the lens.

Yes you can. Before I gave my Bay50 lenses to my son I used a an adapter for 52mm screw in filters. Since it fits the inner bayonet and the shade the outer bayonet there is no problem. It works the same way for Bay60 and 67mm screw in filters with an adapter.

Thanks James. Do you think I should get a plastic one or a totally metal one? Seems the plastic ones are having better conditions on market.
